Below is a list of National, Statewide, and local resources. This is not an exhaustive list, we are always looking for more. If you know of a resource that is not included here, please submit new free shower, laundry, hygiene supplies resources to our database by contacting us

Shower Resources

We HOPE

Through their mobile hygiene service, Dignity on Wheels (DoW), WeHOPE provides free showers to homeless people in San Francisco. 

  • At San Francisco VTC site:

    • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday: 9AM to 1:30PM

  • At UN Plaza site:

    • Daily from 11AM to 7:00PM

St. Anthony’s

Provides free access to showers, toilets, laundry machines, personal care products, and a fresh change of clothes to anyone who is in need. 

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30am – 3:30pm

Wednesday: 7:30am – 12pm

Mission Neighborhood Resource Center

MNRC offers people experiencing homelessness access to showers free of charge.

Laundry Resources

Rad Mission Neighbors

Free Laundry Day. Every last Wednesday of the month from 4-8pm, we’ll be at Fiesta Laundromat at 20th and Van Ness, providing free laundry to sex workers, unhoused neighbors, and anyone who needs it.

Mission Neighborhood Resource Center

Safe space during the day and access to bathrooms, showers, and laundry services

St. Anthony’s

Provides free access to showers, toilets, laundry machines, personal care products, and a fresh change of clothes to anyone who is in need.

INTERFAITH COUNCIL OF ALAMEDA COUNTY

Through a partnership with Dignity on Wheels, individuals participating in the Interfaith Council of Alameda County's (ICAC) Safe Car Park program can get access to laundry services and showers every Wednesday.

St. Vincent De Paul of Alameda

St. Vincent De Paul of Alameda County's community center provides a free laundry facility for those who are struggling with homelessness, addiction, joblessness, and mental health issues.

Hygiene Supplies Resources

Project Homeless Connect

We provide Simply the Basics basic hygiene items, basic needs, new socks, and other hygiene related needs upon request. Limited to availability. Drop by Project Homeless Connect for free hygiene supplies or Call to make an appointment to pick up supplies. Leave a callback number. Staff will return your call.

The Gubbio Project

​The Gubbio Project provides free socks, blankets, and hygiene kits to those in need. They also offer foot care, massage services, and chaplaincy services for those who need accompaniment. There are also referrals to outside agencies available.

Hospitality House

Hygiene Kits for people experiencing homelessness, available on a case by case basis provided by Hospitality House’s Tenderloin Self-Help Center.

The Women’s Building

Anyone is able to ask our receptionist for hygiene kits and welcome to visit our community resource center for further resources and information as needed!

Larkin Street

Larkin Street Youth Services' Engagement & Community Center and the Haight Street Referral Center offer Showers, meals, lockers, laundry, clothing, hygiene supplies, computer/web access, housing intake & problem solving, housing intake & problem solving, life skills groups and special events, education and employment programs, medical care including free and confidential HIV testing, case management, individual and group counseling, and WiFi.

St. Anthony’s

Provides free access to showers, toilets, laundry machines, personal care products, and a fresh change of clothes to anyone who is in need.

Project Homeless Connect

Get a free haircut voucher for individuals experiencing homelessness.

San Francisco LGBT Center

We provide access to basic needs, hygiene supplies, food, food access gift cards, masks, gender-affirming gear, clothing, resource referrals, and virtual spaces.
